Happy Birthday T-Bone!

Ted's birthday was last week, so this post is a bit late, but I've been busy being lazy so I'm just getting to it. We had a nice evening and celebrated by going out to dinner. Ted really wanted a toaster oven and nothing is too good for my T-Bone, so a toaster oven he did receive. Since then we've been toasting everything we eat. :)

My baby-face hubby is another year older

I'm going to backtrack a little bit as well here...on July 12th we saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in concert. We saw them 2 years ago and it was one of the best concerts ever, so we had to go back to see them again this year. It was a good time, although I was definitely reaching the point of "I don't want to leave the house until this baby is out." I couldn't stand for long periods of time but figured it would be fine because we sat almost the entire time when we saw him last. It was a wild and crazy crowd this time around though and they all stood the entire time. So I sat on the blanket and clung to Ted's leg most of the night and caught glimpses of Tom on the big screens between people's torsos in front of me. I'm still glad we went though because they do totally rock. Every song is just so great!

We've been up to other things lately as well, but the couch is calling my name, so I'll save it for another post.

John Pinette is Hilarious.

For my birthday we went to see John Pinette perform at our local comedy club. My sides hurt from laughing so hard. Ted and I remember him from his "Chinese Buffet" joke back in the day. He didn't even do that bit last night and we were rolling the entire hour. This comedy club is an awesome venue to see comedians because it is fairly small...we were about 10 feet from the stage...and John came out to the bar afterwards to sign DVDs and chat. He's is super friendly and was kind enough to take a picture with us, which I'll proudly display below. If you ever get a chance, be sure to see his show. He has quickly risen into my top 5 favorite comedians of all time.
